Teaching women to program!
Katherine and Drew got married! I met Katherine when playing soccer in elementary school, and she and Drew started dating when we were all in high school. He asked her out with Dwarfish (LOTR…) and the rest was history. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding and I was so happy to be a part of it.
The ceremony was held in a studding church in western Massachusetts. Though initially I thought the location was surprising, Katherine was the 6th generation in her mother’s family to get married in that church. How amazing!
The ceremony was traditional, but the bride and groom managed to put their own twist on it was a sneaky exit song – the theme from Star Wars. Nice job, guys!
The reception was at the beautiful Salem Cross Inn on a lovely afternoon. The weather was stunning, and we enjoyed a cocktail hour outside in the garden.
After playing some yard games we headed inside for the reception. The space was beautiful, and very to the taste of the bride and groom. I loved it!
After some very thoughtful speeches and a very tasty meal, we danced the night away. I had a blast!
Congratulations again to Katherine and Drew!
